Hanuman Helps Sugriva

In the forest, there lived a monkey prince named Sugriva. His brother had taken his kingdom and chased him away. Sugriva was sad and scared. He hid in the mountains with his friends.

One day, Rama came to the forest. He was looking for Sita. He had heard that Sugriva might know something. But Sugriva was afraid of strangers.

Hanuman, Sugriva’s wise and brave friend, came to help. He changed into a kind man and spoke gently to Rama and Lakshmana. He listened to their story.

Then Hanuman told Sugriva, “These are good people. They are also looking for help. You should meet them.”

Hanuman brought them together. Rama and Sugriva sat down like friends. They promised to help each other. Rama would help Sugriva get his kingdom back. Sugriva would help Rama find Sita.

Because of Hanuman’s kindness and wisdom, a beautiful friendship began — one that helped change everything.

Moral: Helping others make friends brings joy to everyone.

Parent Tip: When your child sees someone shy or left out, encourage them to say hello or share.
